Does anyone have any pics of this "boxing" that occurs?

My creamsicle lyretail girl will be 21 days (since her first Fry on April 5th) and she is HUGE!!

Just trying to see what to expect.

My one LFS is going to buy the Fry from me when they are about an inch long, so I would like to try to save as many as possible, to finish out my intended stocking with Fry cash.

Can anyone who is knowledgeable in this area (Molly birthing process) give me some info?

Thank you, as always, I'd certainly appreciate the help since I know these babies are coming this time, lol

Mollys breed like rabbits and will give birth once in 28 days. You will see a white vent coming out before the birth. She will hang out near the filter and heater. Most of the time she will hide near the plants and will ignore the males. During this time they breathe rapidly.

Some females also tend to get really aggressive when close to giving birth.

Any pics of what people keep calling "boxing" out prior to when they give birth?

Okay, we're only about 21 days in, since the last birth, but she's soooo round! Lol
She looks like she could pop!! Lol. Poor girl!
    All knocked up and huge!

I'll try to get a good pic once I'm home, lol

Okay, here's a vid (bc thanks to @Lchi87, they focus so much better than trying g to take still shots!!)

Anyhow, pls forgive the uber cheesy music, but the alternative was listening to The Office which was on TV in the background, lol

    Clemmy looks ready to pop!
I can't believe we still have about 10 days left on Round #2!!!!

She obviously looks pregnant but not as big as I thought she would be by your description.

She is as big as the ones I was completely avoiding at my LPS.
That's my only basis for comparison

This is EXACTLY what's happening to my female! She's staying close to the heater (behind some plants) and has short, shallow breaths.

Do you have any pics of her showing this "boxing out"?
Your post was three hours ago, just curious about How's she doing?

I don't have any pictures of a molly who is "boxy" but here's one of my guppies the day before she dropped.

    Yeah, she's big.

    Wait a week.

Then you'll see what we mean by saying she's not huge, lol.

I know the post above is a guppy, but she'll square off exactly the same way.
