Predictable Or Normal Cichlid Behavior

Hello all so the tank is set up and the cichlids I have in there are like this yellow cichlid that kinda has a little bit of black on its dorsal fin and the other cichlid is color orange and is the smallest and nicest and the other cichlid is orange ish with black lines on it and the last cichlid is black with blue stripes on it not to sure what species they are but they are all african species any way so today is the 3rd day of keeping them and I noticed that if one cichlid gets to close to the other the cichlids will chase the other away but nothing to bad it was also strange because one day the yellow cichlid is happy and swimming around and then today it is hiding under a fake rose plant but when I fed them it came out and ate and then it quickly went back to hiding under the plant very strange I thought ... so also the orange cichlid with black stripes today I saw like 5 mins ago it did like a little scratch but there were no white dots on it so I'm just confused because my panda cory did a little type of scratch movement as I was watching him but it never continued it only happens twice but I never saw it ever happen again and my cory is perfectly healthy so why did the cichlid in the other tank do this and can clown loachs go with African cichlids just wondering and all these cichlids are little babies also no bigger than a pinky finger

What size tank? Ich may cause fish to rub against objects in the tank but there are also many reasons to why they would do this. Clowns can go with Africans depending on how aggressive the Africans are, and tank size. Also posting pictures will help us determine the type of Africans you have.

Yellow fish - yellow lab
Orange fish - red zebra
Yellow and black fish - bumble bee
Blue fish - not 100% but possibly a demasonI (many blue Africans that look like this. These are all mbunas, might wanna do some research about them.
What size tank?

Sorry for not answering earlier the tank size is 38 gallons even though I think it's bigger than 38 gallons

You're likely going to run into major aggression problems due to lack of space. 38 gallons isn't that big for mbunas as they have territories and are quite active. If you can, I would advise you to rehome them and get other fish that are suitable for your tank size. There are other Africans you can get.
Since they are babies now they will be fine. Once they start maturing you'll likely have the most dominant fish Kill off the rest. You also want to overstock your tank to reduce aggression but because of your tank size you are unable to do this.
