Today I bought a zoomed powersweep wave maker. I wanted it for my lake tang tank. Popped the bad boy in today, and i used the 'venturi ' attachment that adds air. The fish were terrified of it. When I got home the fish were all hiding. I felt bad. I took off the venturi attachment and it seems like that makes it less scary. I've heard wavemakers are good for lake tang tanks...

I'm going to try adjusting flow to lowest setting and maybe taking off the peice they directs the flow downwards.

Do you think they will get used to it?

As long as it doesn't blow your fish around too much or cause them to feel unstable and uncomfortable, I'm sure the fish will get used to it. I would definitely start with the lowest setting to give them a chance to acclimate first.
