Powerhead placement to flow for a heater

OverSpun

I have not been able to find a conclusive answer for this from google and this forum during research.
I have a 55g tank and I currently have a Marineland Magnum 350 (It is being replaced with a Marineland Magniflow C360 soon because it is dying). It does not flow much from the outlet anymore.

I have my Eheim heater placed on the left glass near the back and it needs flow.

I am considering to add this Marineland Maxi-Jet Pro Pump for Aquariums, 3 Pumps in 1 (230/1000 GPH) (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004KZBOE2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1).

Given I can use it as a Powerhead or Circulation pump and I am not sure which that would be more efficient for flow.

I have been considering to use it as a Powerhead:
1.Place nearby the heater and point it towards the middle of the front glass
2.Circulation Pump and placed on the the right side glass and towards the middle (May offer better flow for the heater?)

Thanks
