My apologies. Let me see if I can find some better pictures.
Here is a male.
Here's a female. Notice the distinct difference in the length of the dorsal fin.
Ah, yeah, totally

The males are also slightly larger. They're quite beautiful in a low light set up. There diamonds really shine.

I read that the females are pale to the point of being relatively transparent - is that true? It kinda looks like that in your pic. It’d be actually be perfect if it is true lol

That's 1 way to describe them, yes. They both have those diamonds though. Which is what attracted me to them initially

Small update:
Somebody took a bite out of Titan

0D045E25-2FC8-49C5-8627-723590E18760.jpeg
Or he caught it on something, idk, we’ll keep an eye on him

The Blind Cave Tetras have already like doubled in size?? they’re so big now! Still hard to get pics of (one in upper right

The danios are being rather rude, probably because of the small school size. I can’t wait to order more, but I have to, so they’ll arrive when I’m actually there (same with the diamonds)

I forgot to mention this a while back, but all the horned nerites died. That sucked. But I decided to order some “sun thorn” nerites from a different seller. They’ll be a little bigger and hopefully healthier.

I also ordered some new red root floaters since all of mine imploded lol (I do love them) and the Aponogeton Madagascar should arrive later this week

Love this! Sorry about your nerites. I think that one of the cave tetras accidentally nipped Titan, thinking he was food.

Thanks! Yeah, that’s my guess too. He’s got a rip in his tail fin today... I might have to take him out.

for Dewclaw : friend I didn't say any thing bad or insult any one, I just tell her for me the tank doesn't look so apocalyptic , and wish her happy women's day,
what admin did .. but admin or what ever he or she is , delete my whole text and say
" Your Post In The Thread Post-Apocalyptic Tank Build Was Deleted. Reason: If You Have Nothing Nice To Say Then It Is Best To Say Nothing "
for people : don't dare to say truth, just say some nice thing otherwise you post will be deleted

Just wondering how the post apocalyptic aquarium was going? I had a suggestion: Marbled Crayfish.

Ah yes sorry! Here’s some updated pics (though poor quality, I do apologize):

And there is a different betta in there, his name is Bazal (Titan was just rather meek and I didn’t want him being bullied... Bazal is not meek in the slightest though lol):

And I thought about crayfish! However, I decided against it due to the number of bottom feeders in the tank, and the blind fish lol

I like what you did with the textures of the plants. Now seeing all the fish and plants I take back my suggestion that a marbled crayfish would be a good addition. It may just eat your plants, and maybe a Cory cat but I'm not sure.

I know you're not doing a saltwater tank, but a really creepy fish for a post apocalyptic tank would be skeleton panda sea squirts.. 'cuz they're low key terrifying.

Lol I don't even know if they're real.
