Possible tank mates for Betta

I have a Betta in a 10 gallon and I'm thinking about getting him some (or a) tank mate. I have a bunch of small snails that joined my tank as hitchhikers, and my Betta is extremely chill with them. I think out of my 4 bettas he'd be the best to put tank mates with. I've never housed anything with a Betta and I'm looking for suggestions! Also wondering if it is even possible in a 10 gallon tank.

Thanks so much!

Personally and this is just me, I wouldn't attempt it in a 10 gallon. I added a male and female to a 60 gallon community tank and the male went beserk on everything for 20 minutes. He chilled out after he picked his territory but up until then it was on.

You might be able to get away with a few small fish like neons or something along those lines. Just be aware of overcrowding if you do so.
My last Betta I put a large mystery snail in there with him, it was cool.

Its possible. Would I recommend it? Not exactly. But I don't have anything super against it. IMO you could put endlers ember tetras, or maaybe chili rasboras. Chilis are small though, I've seen successful and unsuccessful tanks with them. I think cpds may work but they aren't really temp compatible as far as I know.
Personally I would get some ember tetras + a backup plan. I've heard of bettas going beserk overnight though, be prepared that its possible one day the embers will be gone... And even the backup will be too late...

It is possible honestly I would try guppys or shrimp first then see how that goes if it doesn't work then I have more seggestions. but I would need a pic of the tank.

Its possible but I would definitely have a back up plan ready. Some bettas have no problem others do not want friends. A 10g tank is pretty small so you have to get pretty strategic with tank mates. I'd probably try a couple female guppies. Males are pretty flashy which male bettas seem to just want to flare at.
