Hi Guys, so today I got a Zoomed Nano 10 for my 5 gallon Betta tank. I had to cut down the spray bar as it was too long for my tank. Doing this caused the flow to be too strong for my Betta so I increased the size of the holes and added more. It stills seems like the flow is too strong. So, my question is can I have the spray bar facing the wall behind it, slightly pointing up? I find then my Betta can swim around without being pushed all over by the outflow and he does not have to chase his food all over the place. Are there any potential problems in doing this?

    Thanks for your help.

I've actually seen this recommended to members of forums. There shouldn't be any problems besides the possibility of water spraying out of the aquarium.

Thanks for the reply. :) It doesn't seem to spray out of the aquarium and my Betta seems much happier.

I do this very thing. Just watch for bio film on the surface of the water.
