one of my female mollies has developed popeye. i have heard that it can be caused from poor aquarium conditions or parasites. i tested the water and everything is normal. she is in a hospital tank now. how do i treat?

Daily 20% water changes with Prime and soak food in garlic water or get NLS Thera A. Meds you can use is Marcyn 2 or you can use Marcyn 1 and 2 together. But I would do the daily water changes for a week first to see if it helps. I try to do natural way before adding meds.

when popeye shows up in one eye it can be due to an injury that got infected - if it's in both eyes, that tends to indicate water quality. Stepping up the water changes is a good idea as a preliminary treatment, but once you medicate you are not going to do water changes.
