Please help, we inherited 2 week's ago large tank with several established fish.  One of the Plecos (a spotted one) looks like it has lost all its scales down one side of its body (all white) not noticed this before so don't think it is gradual.  The rocks in the tank have always been in so not sure if it has caught itself.  It doesn't seem to be feeding even when the food has dropped in front of it and only moves when the other fish push it to get to the food.

Please please help don't want to loose him and look like I am irresponsible.

If you have another small tank - take him out and pop him in there for a while. Are you giving them regular vegetables (zuchini, pumpkin, etc)? Do you have any others in the tank - if so what gender? do you have lots of hiding places for them? They will fight if competing for females attention. If you have a couple of males and only one female get another female. You can contact me further if you wish.

Coud you give us some information please? We need to know the tank size? How big is the pleco? what other fish are in the tank with him? Do you have water testing materials, if so what are your Ammonia, Nitrite and Nitrate water test readings.
Could you tell us what Country you live in in case we need to recommend medication. All meds are not available all over the world.
Sorry to answer your questions with questions but the answers will help us help you and your fish
By the way- WELCOME TO FISHLORE!!!
