    Just a picture that shows how much a pleco poops in 12 hrs. The tank was vacuumed before I put a slice of zucchini in. IMG_20170730_105812.jpg

    My pleco seems to be doing the same thing.
    I have only tried algae wafers so far. Because we're out of fresh veggies, darn.

    He seems to be eating, but I don't see him do it. Hiding is a favorite of his, probably because I just got him.

    I have seen snails eat it but they produce more poop :)
    Mine only poops little pieces, never seen a string.

    Thanks, he is a cute guy, bristles just coming in. 20170729_192607.jpg

    I hope yours get less fearful over time. Mine is always visible, likes to sit on the driftwood too.

    Oh, it is a suckermouth catfish I think. It hasn't gotten too big, but the species supposed to get like 18' or more'. o-o i'm not sure. the salesperson said it would get 4 inches, so i'm a little confused on its species, but I know its not a bristlenose because doesn't have any of those bristles on the face.

    @Piaelliott
    How long have you had this little guy?
    My BN is just a machine made for pooping! Had to clean the tank again today because of what I found on the substrate.

    I think since January this year. He was really tiny and just started sprouting bristles a few weeks ago.
    I underestimated this guy's nastiness. The other day he followed my keyhole cichlid, darted up and slapped him with his tail. Poor keyhole went flying.
    Good thing he is mostly good and cute. IMG_20170802_204337.jpg

    My guy is juuust starting to become more confident in staying out of hiding all the time.
    He was caught eating zucchini for the first time.
