Hey folks......

In my readings the past few days I have discovered a trend of polyfill being used in filtration to polish the aquarium owners water.

What are your thoughts? Good....bad.....ugly?????

It does seem like another stage of filtration to remove what should not be there.

I am open to suggestions......critiques the like........ do tell!!!!!

Love the stuff. You just grab a hand full stuff it into your HOB or canister and that’s it. Picks up the fine particles.

You don’t have to remove it. Just a small amount helps. It’s easy to manipulate.

I use polyfill in all my filters.
It's the very best mechanical filtration media, IMO.

I use it in mine as well. Extremely cheap and effective.

Why not? Hahaha. I use the 50 microns one. Very polishing!
