Just for the fun of it; how do you like your fish?

• Active: Fast swimming fish that are always on the move all over the tank.
• Passive: Slow moving fish.
• A Combination of Both
• I don't Care: As long as you like the fish and it goes well with your parameters.

I personally like my fish to be very calm and passive. I love to sit down ans see my fish moving slowly, exploring the tank in a passive way, swimming between the plants and so on.

I like them that way because it makes me feel at peace, it relaxes me.

How about you and why?

I tend to have tanks with one type, another type, and both. My pea puffer tank is super relaxed and calm (until I bring up some snails, at least). My guppy tank is super active, because, well, they're guppies. My goldie tanks has the two goldies, and some zebra danios, so it's a nice mix of both. I tend to prefer tanks with a combination of both, but I typically keep species-only tanks (with the exception of my guppy tank that has a couple of female bettas, and the goldie tank).

I love fish full of personality! Like a little pet really, with their own traits, likes ect. Like puffers and octopi

That siad I've never really owned a calm species of fish so I wouldn't really know

I love my betta but he is always darting around. I find slower ones relaxing.

I guess that's sorta subjective, not so black and white haha. I find that for viewing, passive fish are more relaxing and enjoyable. That said, sometimes I feel bad if the fish appear too bored or lethargic, as though they've ran out of things to explore or do. So I try to mix things up when they get too passive. Somehow, I feel they are happier when more active. All just an opinion and perspective.

that is a hard question.....I like both passive and active. passive makes it easier to put different kind of fish in depending on what species the passive one is and also relaxing but active fish are a lot of fun to watch and keep

Probably more on the passive side for me.
My halfmoon betta was super chill and just laid around so I was able to get really good pictures with little effort. Plus I felt like he was being lazy with me lol.
My plakat I have now...I was scared something was wrong with my water because of how fast he was in the beginning. Today he nearly jumped out of the tank trying to get something he saw! He is psycho bonkers crazy! I still love him but jeez!
