I have a 20 gal cycled filtered and heated tank. I have

    7 tiger barbs

    5 zebra danios

    1 clown pleco.

Me pleco always hides in a hollow log and won’t eat unless I put his wafers in the log. I’m not able to drop them In because my tiger barbs will poke at it until it’s on the other side of the tank. I’ve read they like driftwood, but I don’t have any. He also wouldn’t eat the cucumber I put in for him today. Any suggestions?

Clown plecos constantly hide. I've had one for over a year now and all he does is spend his time behind a dual sponge filter. and he is in a tank with just guppies and green cory cats. They will come out at night when its pitch black and i would definitely get a piece of driftwood in there for em. Either that or rehome em and get a rubberlip they are much more personable and still stay relatively small. Not to mention i bet the tiger barbs could be stressing em out when he sees his wafer being dropped in and being picked at by the tigers. Try zucchini its more nutritious. Good luck
