Ok so I was at the fish store last weekend and I impulse bought a bristlenose pleco. I'm growing him out in my 23 until the goldfish are rehomed and he can go in that tank.

At the shop I forgot to buy food for him! So 2 days ago I threw in a cucumber piece tied to a rock. It was gone overnight. BUT the skin had pond snails all over it the next day. Did the snails or the pleco eat it?

Or maybe did the guppies/ neon tetras eat it?

He's been pooping a lot and there is lots of algae, plants and wood for him to munch. Will he be fine?
