Pleco Eating During The Day

hello I read on some fish website that its a red flag if pleco’s eat during the day? my pleco has fin rot which he got from the pet store that I'm trying to heal but he always eats whenever. hes not shy and eats his cucumber and algae wafers no matter what time of the day so is it really a red flag?

Yeah that's not true plecos could eat anytime of the day even if its early in the morning to late at night

I have a pleco that always eats during the day.

Another that i’ve Only seen in the middle of the night. Depends on the fish.

I just did a quick read-through. I’m not impressed. There’s contradictory info, as well as misinformation. I’m not one to judge another person’s grammar, but the article is also badly written. Yeah, I also saw contradicting information. I was just wondering because of the fact that it was said if it was possible that its true. thank you for clearing up the misconception
