Pleco Bloated Or Fat?

    Hey guys does my pleco look super bloated or just fat?

    Kind of just looks fat mine gets like that sometimes. Try not feed him for a bit and see if he gets skinnier! Should only take a few days if he's only fat.

    It was after I dropped a algae waffer in I was just like jeeze he's huge

    It looks like a gravid female.

    Yah I would just give him no food and see what happens.

    It could be I never thought of that. But I have little experience with that as my plecos are males

    Looks like a healthy plump ole pleco in my experience. Any behaviour abnormalities?

    A little fat, but looks like a female so that can account for the extra chubby look - hold off regular food for a day or two to see if it goes down.

    Yea it's a female bristlenose with no bristles I'm pretty sure I have a male in another tank and they look exactly the same but one has bristles and one dosnt
