I acquired the fish when i took over a neglected tank my parents had. The pleco i believe is a Sailfin but I just want to confirm that, and the Cichlid i believe to be a African Cichlid of some sort

The plec could be a Hypostomus if it has 7-8 soft rays in the dorsal fin. If it has 10 or more it's one of the Sailfins, Pterygoplichthys.

I can't ID exactly Wat is because I suck at ID Africans when they don't have any color yet or when they are females.

Thanks on the pleco ill try to catch it with its fins up so i can count it. The cichlid ill continue searching its 4-5" i would think it would gain its color by now but may be stressed ill see if the color improves over the next week.

ooh Thank you it does indeed look like a female blue bar. It also has yellow tinge to the fins as it is described, not sure if thats considered 7 or 8 bars though but i dont think im going to find anything else nearly as close to that.
