Hi everyone,
Over the last few days, the mods have been moving a good number of threads into more relevant forums.

In a large community such as Fishlore, posting your question to the right (or more appropriate) forums generally results in a faster response time from those who know. Not to mention it keeps all like postings in the same place, making it easier for someone to search for an answer.

We understand that many may not be aware of the full index of sub-forums at Fishlore, so I've taken some time to create a full spreadsheet (Excel 97-2003) that details the Fishlore forum layout.

The spreadsheet also includes links, so clicking on a cell should take you right to the sub-forum

View attachment Fishlore Index.xls <- click here to download

Note: The file has been scanned and cleaned of known viruses, but you should take your own precautions. Fishlore, its members, associated parties, sponsors etc will not be held liable for any damage or loss incurred from downloading this file.

I hope it makes your life easier

Time for a bump everyone....

Seems the moderators are spending a lot time moving threads to more appropriate forums, particularly threads being started in "Freshwater Beginners".

For clarification; FW Beginners is not a dumping ground, nor is it a "Fishlore Beginners" forum, it is for those just starting out in the hobby. Chances are, if you know what you're referring to, it probably has an appropriate forum (there are 250+ sub-forums)

Nitrogen Cycle, Cloudy Water, pH, Temperature, Plants, Aquarium Stocking, specific fish species, Substrates (incl sand) <- all of these have dedicated forums.

For those new to Fishlore but not fishkeeping, please introduce yourself by posting a thread in the Welcome to Fishlore forum, and then please take the time to post to a relevant sub-forum - it helps you get the best responses from our members.

Thanks everyone - don't mean to sound harsh, just want to get the best responses for all our members.

Hello Fishlore!!

Please take note of the posts above.

For everyone already doing this, a big THANK YOU!!

As a friendly reminder, FL Forum rule #4 states the following:
4. Please use the search features and see if your question has already been answered. Please use the most appropriate board when posting your question. Navigate to that board and post the topic from that location. This helps keep the place tidy and makes it easier for those looking for answers to their questions.
The MOD team has been very busy moving member threads to the appropriate sub-forums. Please do your part and post your questions in the appropriate section of the forum, this will greatly help in getting you the best response to your questions and helps keep the forum well organized.

Now off to do some Fishloring

Thanks again!

I think it's time for a bump as we seem to be spending an awful lot of time moving threads lately.
Thanks for reading
