Please Help Me ID This Snail!

Ok guys and gals I need help, I bought a plant around a month or two ago and I put some of it in my 10 gallon tank that I breed feeder guppies in, well about two weeks after putting the plant in a little baby snail popped up and since then he has grew quite the bit, he has stopped growing now it seems and he's not very big, but he is the only snail that has shown up from the plants as I haven't seen any other snails in the guppy tank or in any of the other tanks that I put some of the plants in, but I'm not sure what type of snail he is, I'm really curious on know what he is as I have grown quite fond of him since I watched him grow up.

*Please note that the snail was only taken out of the water for less then a minute so I could snap some real quick pictures*

 

its a pond/bladder snail,they populate really fast after they get started and if you don't like them get rid of them now.

if you like them then keep it and watch the babies grow!

 

Not sure if these eat plants so do some research if you have some. I just found some babies in my tank thanks to my new hornwort. I've already picked out at least 10 with tweezers and accidentally lost track of 2. I'm picking them out for the next month.

They don't eat plants unless a leaf is dying or the plant is not healthy. They eat algae somewhat efficiently though.

 

I found that they only eat plants if they are starving.
