Please Help. Lumps On My Shark

Damien Laurence

Is anyone able to help? I have two Colombian sharks which I bought around 2 months ago. One if absolutely fine. The other has recently developed some lumps on its head, and a large red lump just by its gill. All of the other fish in my tank are absolutely fine with no lumps, so I don’t think it could be white spot or anything like that. Is this something that Colombian sharks may be prone too, or does anyone know what this might be, or what I should do?

Final Fins. Sometimes with this type of problem it's not necessary to ask all those questions.

I really hope someone with is species of fish can answer your questions in a nice and timely manner

Definitely not white spot

IMO, The white lumps on the head are secretions oozing out of the sensory pits. HITH / Hexamita.
The red growth near the gill plate looks viral, maybe Lymphocystis.

Ill have to disagree, I think its always necessary to ask those questions to rule out possibilities.

Agreed. I just am trying to rule out possibilities.
