Yeah, the only difference is that TSS+ contains more bacteria per ounce than TSS does. I don't believe that the two weeks rule is changed at all.
I did a 50 percent water change last night and will add the TSS when it has been 24 hours since the change. I hope the TSS will help.. I don't know why I feel like I will never have normal levels in my tank
You will. I can guarantee it. Do you know who will never have normal levels in their tank? Someone that does not care. You obviously do care, so it'll get there. Please know that every single person here has struggled with a tank at least once, and everyone here learns something new daily on this forum. That's what it's here for. We ask questions, share advice, brainstorm, and problem solve.
OK, speech over.
The ammonia and nitrites look great!
Wouldn't worry too much about the pH.
I would question your nitrate reading.
It shouldn't be 0 at this point.
I don't know if it's been mentioned in this thread but the #2 Nitrate bottle can be tricky.
It's not totally liquid. f it's not mixed properly you could get a false 0 reading.
Test the nitrates again. This time tap the #2 bottle against a table a couple of times then shake the heck out it.
If your ammonia and nitrite are 0 and your nitrates are between 10-20 that's better than ok.
That's great!.....and cycled!!
I'd be too excited to wait. lol
You must be also.
Go ahead and test.
It won't hurt anything.
UPDATE!
I just tested the water again this morning. It seems that my PH is high. Everything else seems perfect but its just this darn PH! My 14 day TSS cycle will be over this Wednesday and I plan on doing a 30% water change on Thursday. Here is what my numbers look like:
PH: 7.6
Ammonia: 0
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 10 to 20 PPM
I am adding a few pictures so you guys can see exactly what I seen when I tested it. What can I do to lower my PH? Does this mean I am not cycled?
PH: 7.6
Ammonia: 0
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 10 to 20 PPM
