Please Answer!(african Clawed Frog Question)

Hey! Got my first African clawed frog 3 days ago and I have a question: Is it normal if the frog sometimes doesn't react to me tapping or knocking the aquarium glass and sometimes if I will touch her she at first doesn't react and only after a while swims away. But at other times she will respond to me touching her and when I turn on the lights. I don't understand if maybe she's sleeping or is kinda zoned off. Please answer so I can better understand her and if she's okay.

 

Maybe stop touching the frog? As long as its eating and looks healthy, it is healthy. Poking at it and tapping on the glass can be stressful for the frog.

 

I don't touch it frequently, only when I'm worried if she's okay, because I have read a lot of bad stories about the diseases they can have and I'm just super worried. And also, about the eating - it doesn't seem very eager to eat or at least when I'm not holding the food in my hands. When I hold the food, she eats it, but when I just let it go in the water it doesn't really want to catch it. I don't know, maybe she doesn't want to eat, but then I want to know why she doesn't want the food.

ADF have really bad eyesight, so it takes a while for them to find the food.

 

My frog is kind of skittish when people walk by or if someone closes a door and it makes a noise. And I agree with the bad eyesight, it takes him a while to eat but he's totally okay. I wouldn't worry too much about diseases as long as your water is fine and he looks healthy
