Alright, so my little listless platy fry have done something stupid again. Seriously, they're like toddlers:;soldier ! So one of my five month old fry went and ate at least a foot of white thread that I had used to tie down some plants to my driftwood, because my pleco kept bulldozing them off. Now he's in the corner by the filter intake, breathing hard, very fat, with thick, white poo hanging out of him. Should I just let him pass it normally? Anything I can do to help him?

Are you sure he actually ate the thread? White feces is often a sign of parasites.

Yes, he ate it, I watched him. I've had to deal with quite a few health issues in my tank and parasites was one of them, this poo isn't like what they had when they had worms. This actually looks like the white thread he ate.

If your sure it actually ate the thread, I'd leave it alone... maybe feed it some peas....?
