    I can't believe it.

This morning when I got up, I checked on my fish tanks. I had 27 fry in a floating breeder box in one of my aquariums. I didn't have my contacts in, so when I first glanced, I thought it was weird that one of my bloodfin tetra's looked like it was IN the breeder box.

    That's because IT WAS.

EVERY SINGLE ONE OF MY BABIES WERE GONE!!!!! =(

There was a 3 week old white mickey mouse.
8 yellow mickey mouse's with red fins just starting to show, they were 1 week.
2 blue babies that were only 3 days old,
and 16 white with orange fin babies that were also only 3 days old.

    ALL GONE.

    What a glutton.

    =(

Now, I've learned. I'll use the LID next time I have fry.

I just didn't even think about using the lid, because I figured there was no way those babies were going to just jump out of their little home.

But I never considered that any of the other fish would successfully jump out of the water, up 3/4's an inch and IN to the breeder box.

The bloodfin is quite bloated. You'd think it was about ready to drop babies.
