Platy fish gasping at bottom & stopped eating food

TheDoctor

Hi friends I am new in this hobby(started in May 2021) and this is my first post in this forum.
One my Platy fish from last 2 days have started gasping at the bottom & from today it stopped eating, although she was a big eater.

Fish Tank : 20 Gallons, Non Planted, community tank(Cycled)

Tank Mates :-
2 Platinum Angelfish
2 Dwarf Gouramis
1 Platy
3 Neon Tetra
3 Cardinal Tetra
1 Pleco

Water Parameters

Nitrate : 0
Nitrite : 0
GH : 6
Kh : 3 to 6
Ph : 6.4 to 6.8
Cl : 0
Ammonia : 0
Temp : 81 F

Testing Kit : Sera

Water conditioner : Sera Aquatan

1 Cycled Sponge filters
1 Top Filter with Cotton floss

I normally do 30% water change Bi Weekly, but this time I didnt do it for 10 days, but water parameters were OK.
Today I did 40% water change using Sera Aquatan water conditioner, I mean I did it 12 hrs ago but the fish is in same condition.
One more thing which I did by mistake that I left the lights switched ON for more than 24 hrs two times in last 2 days which led to the rapid green algae growth.

All other fishes are doing well except my platy, did the light affected its health?

Please help!!!

I don't think the light has anything to do with it. Is it possible that you used too much water conditioner?

Too much water conditioner can deplete to oxygen in your tank too much and can cause this exact behavior.

Again its just a thought.

It got sick 2 days before the water change, so its not water conditioner that's for sure.
Fish tank is sufficiently aerated by air stone & a sponge filter.
Wandering, where is the problem.
