Plastic extension pieces for tank lid?

I have a bowfront tank that has the two piece glass lid along with a plastic extension that slots over the rear glass to allow you to cut out holes for filters and such. Over the years I've changed filters and configurations enough that this piece is cut up and useless, and today I found a dried up cardinal tetra on top of the glass

However I have not had any luck hitting the right search terms to find anywhere I can buy a replacement piece. I've contacted the tank manufacturer (marineland) to see if they sell any but outside of that, does anyone know what you would call this thing or where you could buy one? I mean I could probably find some sort of thing plastic somewhere to cut to shape but I'm not sure about the slotted part that slips over the glass to connect it.

here is an ebay item number you can use for search words (not saying it will fit, just terminology) 303534118681

After I looked on the site I found I seen it was out of stock but maybe punching in a stock # will help find it

Aqueon Versa-Top is a good line of hinged glass lids that have those plastic slip on lips.

Maybe check out the Aqueon website for replacement plastic pieces that fit those Versa-Top lids, and match up the correct glass thickness.

Does anyone know the easiest way to remove the hard plastic hinge on the Versa top so I can get the glass cut to fit in the rim of my tank? I can’t find a top that fits my 29 gallon so the easiest solution is to get the glass cut at a hardware store so it will fit perfectly and either put the hinge back on after cutting it or doing the DIY method to make it a sliding top instead of a hinge. In this video he doesn’t show how to remove the glass from the hinge and he got it off pretty easily.

maybe a putty knife. warm the hinge up a little with a lighter and get the knife in between it.

I was finally able to get it off! I used a plastic hair pick to pry it open just enough to slide the glass out without breaking the hinge or thankfully not breaking the glass!

Tile board moulding is what it's called at Lowes, at Home Depot it's less than $3 for 96 inches and is:
Royal Mouldings 852 1/2 in. x 3/4 in. x 8 ft. PVC Composite White Outside Corner Moulding-0085208011 - The Home Depot

852 1/2 in. x 3/4 in. x 8 ft. PVC Composite White Outside Corner Moulding

I'll be using this two repair the lids on 2 tanks.
