Planting Water Sprite Directly in Gravel

Just ordered some water sprite for my 10g tank and I am wondering if I can plant it directly in the gravel/rocks?

Yes you can or have it as a floating plant. I currently have my water sprite planted in gravel substrate in my split betta 5gal and in 29 gal w/ gravel sand mix substrate

As crazymexican2393 said, you can grow it planted in substrate or floating. Mine does much better floating, but you might get different results.

So it will not grow in just gravel\rocks?

I assume it will, since mine grows in sand. I'm just saying it grows faster floating, at least for me.

Most plants will grow in gravel or sand. It just may be different, depending on your water.
