Planting My Molly Tank

I'm hoping to make my Molly tank a planted one when I'm finished the build, what are the best plants for mollies? I know mosses, like carpets, walls and balls are good for them and lots of algae and java ferns but what kind of mosses and how much java fern and stuff? I plan to have fry being raised in the tank so there needs to be hiding spots.

I'm not sure about specifics, but I'd think for a freshwater molly setup you could get just about any plant that your light/Co2/nutrience can support. If you want to go brackish (I reccomend it 1000x over!!!) there are quite a few commonly availiable freshwater plants that could be acclimated with your mollies.

I know a lot of people say brackish is the way to go but I haven't really seen any 'esential' benefits to the fish? Why do you like brackish water?

My LFS has a brackish molly tank, and I've been going there since I was 3 or 4. All the fish in that tank seem... different. They seem to be much more comfortable, and honestly, they look healthier. Their colors are more vibrant, their fins are longer (sailfin mollies especially). They look healthier to me, and I don't see nearly as many sick mollies in that tank. I think they're at much less risk in Brackish.

Might aklimate them to a brackish aquarium when I build it then
