Planted Tank having problems with plant die off?

I have a 50 gallon planted tank with a crypt, anubias, java fern, java fern windelov, rotala indica, java moss, and a madagascar lace plant. Fish are: KulI Loach-6, Neon Tetra-23, KubotaI Rasbora-6, Panda Cories-6, and a handful of blue dream shrimp. I am currently using fertilizer (flourish and flourish root tabs) and have full spectrum light that is on 10 hours on a timer. Temp stays at 78°F.
I have been having problems with plant die off. I originally did not use any fertilizer or co2 for fear of it killing my shrimp. The past few weeks though, my lace plant and java ferns have been browning and losing leaves rapidly. My lace plant is down to 5 leaves from about 10 and my java ferns have lost about half their leaves too. The past weekend I got some root tabs and flourish for the water. I put all of it in (it is shrimp safe) and nothing has happened since then, no improvements. My plants are still just deteriorating. This is just becoming so stressful I just don’t know what to do. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

1. Is this a cycled tank? If so, for how long has it been cycled? 2. And what type (in the best details as you can explain) of lighting? And lastly, 3. How much ferts and when do you dose the ferts? Thanks in advance.

What light are you using? Is it fluorescent or LED?

The temp is a bit warm for the neons, but that is another story.

I will tell you what I use for my plants. Maybe it will help. Flourish once a week, Flourish Excel everyday, Flourish Iron once a week, Flourish Potassium once a week, Flourish root tabs every three months. My lighting is LED with adjustable RGB. The water is RO/DI remineralized with Seachem Equilibrium.

I keep shrimp and snails (nerite and mysteries)

Follow the directions on the bottle. Each aquarium gets a different amount according to the gallons of water.

I am currently dosing flourish micro elements, trace elements, and other nutrients once a week, and root tabs every 3 months. I just recently started both of these though. My tank has been cycled about 6 months and has had no other problems till now. I have the full spectrum light bulbs that came with the tank hood that stay on 10 hours per day on a timer. One more question, I really like your tanks, do you use co2? If so is that my issue here? How could I use co2 without harming my shrimp if I have to use it?

I’ll take a guess at answering that one! Since he’s dosing Excel daily, no CO2.

If so, I am curious to know, how much Excel do u use daily, or weekly?

I follow the directions on the bottle, using 1 capful per week.

Do you think you could tell me your fert schedule in more detail (how much per day you dose etc) so that I could try and see if it helps at all

Okay thanks. Do you think my issue here was just that I didn’t fertilize at first? Or do you think I have another issue I need to worry about?
