So I have a 10 gallon planted tank that's been running for about 3-4 months. there is a corner of the tank that I let get covered in biofilm so that the Neocaridina, which are the only intentional organisms, can feed on it so on and so forth. Anyway I noticed a bunch of microscopic bugs, that reminded me of fleas, munching on the biofilm. Any clue what they are and are they harmless? Gonna exponetially increase Nitrates?
