So a while ago, I got this live freshwater aquarium plant. I don’t remember what kind it is, but end of the leaf, it’s turning clear and dissolving or something. What’s happening? How do I fix it?

Can you post a picture of the entire plant?
That doesn't look like an aquarium plant, looks more like a dracaena.
I'd remove it ! Rotting (plants) isn't very good in a tank. Will it rotting harm my fish?
Yeah, its a species of dracanea. The one the OP has is commonly referred to as a corn plant; d. fragrans.Lucky bamboo is actually a type of dracanea, if I’m not mistaken.
You can grow it out of an HOB filter. Submerge the roots in the filter and have the rest of the plant out in the air, and it will be happy
What’s a dracaena?
Oohhh nevermind I just saw DoubleDutch’s reply. I got it at petsmart and they said it’s an aquarium plant. Of course, petsmart was wrong again. Just my luck.
Will it rotting harm my fish?
So I asked in another post why my aquarium plant was turning clear. Some people said that it was fertilizer deficient, so I got plant fertilizer. Then I found out it is a dracaena. What is that? They said that the plant will rot over time. What?? Is this safe for my fish?
