HI everyone I recently put together a 20 gallon rimless tank (60cmx35cmx40cm) I have a CO2 system ready to go and plan on using an ULTRA-GRO led light pg series 60cm 7000k. I currently use the 45cm version on my 15 gallon and it's working well with Dwarf baby tears, stuarogyne sp Porto Velho and Ammania sp SulawesI both. I'm using ADA Amazonia in both tanks.

I would like to try to have this tank heavily planted stocked with completely different plants I still want a Carpeting plant and am thinking about minI four leaf clover
Any suggestions are appreciated.

I think a carpet of dwarf sag with a clump of pogostemon helferI on the left, a short bush of alternanthera reinekiI hygrophila polysperma bush at the back on the right and and the rest of the back covered with a rising bush of rotala indica would look amazing.

I'm more giving suggestions of where to put your carpet lol - the carpet would probably look best encircled by the hardscape and "drifting" out towards the front to meet the front glass. I'd say Java Fern would look nice (or african water fern, but they are harder to get..and look like little bushes when kept together) at the left side around the back of the hardscape. I agree with the alternanthera reinekiI bush they look really nice and it would look good set off to the right as a draw in for visual.
It also depends on what colors you are wanting?

Thanks for the suggestions I'm going to look up each of the plants when I get home as far as color pallet I'd like a mix of dark and bright green but some localized red is cool too I'd really like some tall plants in the background and maybe a few in front of the cave on the right side of the tank so I can keep surface dwellers happy

I also have anubias nana that I'll be relocating to the tank and am thinking about adding a few of them in the crevices of the rocks if you guys think that would look good

They would look like small trees, I say go for it.

Would I be able to grow two different carpeting plants without them looking sloppy while not using dividers around them? I was thinking about having a carpet around the rocks that flows seamlessly into a shorter carpet in the foreground and mid section. Would this work or look sloppy?

It might work, but at the same time they might start growing into each other and looking like a jumbled mess. What carpeting plants were you thinking of?

I was thinking marsilea minuta and glossostigma elatinoides next to the rocks, I really don't know though I'll just have to see what looks best to me in the store
