Plant ideas for low light 75 gal

Hello. I’ve got a 75gal marieneland tank. Got some elodea and hornwart in there already but wanted to try something a bit different and rooted. The light is pretty crappy but was hoping to find something to make it look a bit better. So far my ideas for plants are:
Banana plant
Moneywart
Brazilian pennywart
Water sprite
Italian Vals
Wisteria
Java fern windelov
Crypt Beckettii
Would these be ok? Also when it came to vals I was so confused because there’s so many types. Is there a better one suited to low light? What other plants should I look into getting? My substrate is gravel and I have root tabs available. Temp is always 81F. And my horrible light is the 48-60 version on here:

All the plants you mentioned may work depending on your lighting (and other factors). If your tank is super low light, java ferns, anubias, and bucephalandra may be your best bet.

Check buceplant's web site and look at their low tech plant list for a bunch of other possibilities.

I had a couple of Anubias petite in there before however my fish like to move things and they’d constantly come loose n float up so I moved it to my other tank. They are great plants though.

That's a "horrible" light?? It's still better than a lot of lights I see on here lol

Jungle val will probably grow well!

All the reviews I was reading on it were complaining on using with plants xD. It lights the tank well though. And thanks I was wanting to get some sorta val because I think it would go well in a tank the size of mine.

Ime lighting is very important to a successful planted tank.
Even low light plants that I have had were dying because of insufficient lighting.

Light, ferts (live critters) all will really help you have a good experience

In my low light tanks I have the most success with Java Fern, Vallisneria and Wisteria (or maybe it was Water Sprite I can't tell the difference). Most Crypts do well too.

Thanks! Do you know what type of vals they were?

Jugle val, different types of Anubias, Java fern, and Java moss are all thriving in my lowlight tanks. I know you said something rooted so go for the Jungle val. I think it makes any tank it's in look great!

It's just called thin Val here, not the corkscrew type or giant Val.

Thanks! I’ll probably give the jungle val a go when I order them. Do you remember if there was much melt when you first got it? I’ve had some pretty poor luck with cortation val (I think that’s what it was called) when I first got it. Maybe it was poor shipping but all 3 the leaves just dissentergrated off and no new growth came after. Wanted to know if jungle was the same.

No mine had no melt at all. I ordered them (2 plants to start with) and now they have each produced 3 more plants. They've been in my tank for about 6 weeks.

Awesome! I’m glad they went well. I feel a lot safer now haha
