Plant Id

Hi all, just doing a quick check what this red leaf plant is. Busy browsing my lfs and they can't name any of the plants apparently they just get a packet of them and sell them all as "freshwater plants" for the same price

Narrow red leaves


Fat leaves, red under and green on top

 

first one looks like alternanthera reineckii "pink / rosaefolia"

second one i believe is a purple waffle plant, it is not aquatic

 

Thanks @midna I ended up getting the first one you labelled as alternanthera reineckii, I've been reading up and comparing pictures against it and it seems to be the correct one thank you!

As for the lfs in general, they have a very lazy view on plants in the way that they're all cheap and mostly dying and none are labelled. Seems like they're only interested in equipment and fish.
