Plant deficiency? Manganese?

Hi friends,
The tips of new leaves on my ferns are translucent and holey. The snails devour those parts and leave the rest of the plant alone. (Currently have a Ramshorn explosion, but it's not stocked with anything else so I'm cool with it atm). From what I've researched it seems like a manganese deficiency, but I'm no scientist and was hoping for help on here. I fertilize once a week with Seachem Flourish, phosphorus, potassium, and sometimes iron. Should I be fertilizing more. It's a heavily planted 10g.

Here's a pic of the entire tank. I consider it heavily planted, but others opinions would be helpful too

To me it sounds like it could be either iron or manganese, I believe that the they are related in the sense that one is required for the uptake of the other (don’t take my word for that) so it would certainly be something to look into. I would first try boosting your iron and seeing if that helps, if not I would find something to dose manganese. I know that quite a few fertilizers supply both iron and manganese as a 2 in 1 sort of thing and that may be something to look into, or if you are partial to a certain brand I’d say go ahead and get manganese or a micro mix for that.

I feel like if you're dosing flourish, you should be getting enough manganese. Micro deficiency is quite uncommon aside from iron.
What are your nitrate readings? When did you add these plants to the tank?
I would say that's medium planted. Make sure ferns and rhizome plants do not have their rhizomes buried too deeply in the substrate

Nitrates are typically under 40. I find it hard to tell the difference bewteen 20-40 with API tests...

Some have been in the tank for about a year. Some for a few months. Most rhizomes are above the substrate. If not, they're barely buried.

Hmm, tough one. When did this start? Do you know your GH/water hardness?

It started about a month ago.

GH is usually between 12-15
KH is around 2-4
PH is 7.2

A thought from right filed is that the golden pathos I have could be doing it. I added that about a month ago.
