Plant Damage

I was wondering if Siamese algae eaters will eat/harm Amazon sword plants. I also have a 6" sail fin pleco in my tank. Within a few days of planting it my amazon sword leaves look like they have rows of small holes in them. See pictures. I have not seen the pleco on it but have seen the SAE 'nibbling' on my plant. I understand that the pleco usually comes out at night so maybe it's just that I am not catching him in the act. So who do you think the culprit is? My SAE or my Pleco?

It is a 45 gallon

Are these the only fish In the tank? What are you feeding them? They might be lacking algae so I would increase lights

I feed my algae eaters and bottom dwellers other food..they don't just rely on algae. I had an algae problem until I got these guys. I'm reluctant to increase the light in case I have another problem.
