Plant advice and liquid fertilizer recommendations?

BellaFriedrick

I have three tanks, each with a decent amount of plants. I have a 20g, 10g and 5g. I currently use flourish root tabs and flourish excel as fertilizer. All my plants (except my frogbit for some reason) are nice and green and most are big, but now I think they have stopped growing. Still looking alive and healthy, just not growing much anymore. They get 7-10 hours of light a day and are all in cycled tanks, though there are barely any fish right now. I’m getting more this weekend. Any advice for them? Recommended liquid fertilizers that are snail safe? Also, any recommended easy to grow fast growing plants?

Flourish Excel is glutaraldehyde which is not a fertiliser. I'd add some nutrients to the water column. You could use Flourish Comprehensive which contains mostly micro nutrients or if you have low nitrates & phosphates and a reasonable plant load an all-in-one fertiliser that contains macronutrients might be more beneficial.
