Plans to redo my 10 gallon

I am planning to redo my 10 gallon tank to look more natural. I am planning on BDBS, a peice of driftwood I found on the beach (represented as the stick, it looks pretty similar.), another piece of driftwood I have yet to find, 2 dragon stones, anubias nana that I would put on the driftwood (is that okay?), bacopa, amazon sword, water wisteria, and java fern. I'm going for a minimalistic yet natural tank. Just wanted to share my plans and see if anyone has any ideas to make it look nicer, what would be better, etc.. Here is a screenshot from scape it. I'm very excited for the future!

Maybe some smaller reddish variation of the sword plant instead of the big amazon? Might outgrow the tank. Java fern also shouldn't be planted in substrate so take it in account.

I love Cryptocorynes so I will suggest you to see the options in that category. So many colors and looks that survive without high lights.

I have seriously considered crypts. All I've ever heard about them are good things!! Thanks for the heads up on the java fern :)

I think perhaps a bigger rock behind the driftwood to give some more dimention and as Nopsu said some red plants will change it a bit from all green. Plants and hardscape can be determined by what your stocking the tank with so do you have any ideas on what fish you want in the 10 gal?

If I was a fish, I would love to swim within your little world!

I already have a platy and molly that will be in it, but otherwise I'm not sure. I was at the store today and decided I liked the red flame sword, so I think I might get one of those!

Since you have hard water fish, maybe a nerite snail or 2 ? :p Red racers are my favorite. 10 gal is not much so I'd have either few mollies or few platys in if they are your choice of fish
