Planaria in frozen food?

TacomaToker

I fed a cube of Mysis shrimp into the guppy tank, which I do only rarely. Came back and the glass/substrate are covered in Planaria! I've never seen a single one in this tank, and now they are everywhere! They are very large planaria. Is it possible they came in on frozen mysis shrimp? I have a hard time believing they were already in the tank since I have literally never seen a single one before. There are now dozens and dozens everywhere....

Odds say the planaria were always there, just tempted to show themselves with the promise of a meaty snack

I doubt very much adult planaria could survive being frozen.

I do overfeed heavily in this tank and let algae go nuts. It’s just crazy I’ve never seen one before and then there were about 30 massive adults all over the tank 5 minutes later.
