HI chickadee,

just letting you know that my two male bettas are doing great, piggy hasnt dropped his habit of stealing fatso's food and fatso bullies it back, so they still love eachother as much as they did when I got them. I left them at home on holiday and a friend looked after them so well along with my other fish. They really are such best friends and its so special to see them playing, theyve set a new benchmark when it comes to fish compatability. who would have thought?

I am so glad you stopped by. It is so good to hear from you. You have a really unique situation and we all wish we could do it too. Unfortunately, only special little bettas like yours who really love each other will ever do what your little males are doing and living TOGETHER and playing together.

Do you suppose if I asked Santa really nice....... ;D???

Oh well I love the little ones I have but it is so nice to hear that piggy and fatso are doing so well. Please do stop by and let us have a catch-up on them once in a while. They are truly unique.

Hey! Do you have any pictures you would share?

when I got the two from the FS, they were in the same tank, I thought I was resuing them by separating them, they got so depressed and wouldnt eat after doing that so I put a perspex divider in so they could see eachother again and still they longed for eachother. I took it out and immediately I could see the change, they ate together and played together.

Ill post some pics tomorrow, I hope, its so difficult to take pictures of the little ones when they don't want to sit still!!! hehe

That is really unusual. Like...are you positive these are males? Sorry it's just kinda hard to imagine male Bettas as best friends!

Yip! I'm in the process of setting up a bigger tank for them so they can have more plants to relax on. So once all that's bee done, ill post some pics of the two. I might add a friend or two, like an otto if I can get one here. It will be a treat, promise!

Yes, I remember the fiasco you had when you seperated them and how you nearly lost them because they were so unhappy. I do believe you have a Fishlore.com oddity here. They are actually stars of note here. I am betting it will be a long time if ever, before we have another male pair that are so devoted.

I just hope that they enjoy their new home once its all set up. I was also worried about adding a friend or two in their little tank cos although they best friends it could cause some problems if their space is invaded... But I really do love my little friends! And I promise When They have their new tank Ill post pics of the two!!!
