Pictus catfish HELP- really sick

Hi there. My pictus is acting really strange, I think perhaps dying. I feel terrible and want to do whatever I can. It started with a slight tilt about 2 weeks ago and has progressed to completely erratic spurts of manic swimming, barrel rolling, vertical spinning and running into the glass and other structures, alternating with just lying on its side or upside down at the bottom. It has always been a bit of a spaz, but this is all completely different. Now seems to have rapid breathing. It is about 3 years old, and have had since a baby, and was one of the original fish in the tank. Tank is 20 Gal (yeah I know it’s too small, just read that while researching this issue). There are currently 2 adult Mollys. We perform 40-50% water changes every 1.5-2 weeks. Just checked pH, nitrates/nitrites, and ammonia- all normal. Temp stays around 78-80, but just turned up to 82. Had two bouts of Ich in the Molly’s, but catfish never appeared effected with lesions, and do not see any lesions now. One of Molly’s does have some growth it looks like, so started Ich treatment with Herbtana just in case. Honey not sure if it’s been eating. Tried shrimp pellets and frozen pea, but not interested at all. Belly does not look bloated but maybe could be swim bladder disease, although I thought that was when they floated? He/She just kinda sinks to the bottom. Is there anything else I can try? Or is it euthanasia time?? Thanks

Hi, I dont know much about this fish so I’ll ask a couple things.
-do you know how old these fish usually live to?
-do you know of any ammonia spikes is the past two weeks?
-have any other fish in the tank acted sick (other than the ich)
The ich May have caused your fish to be acting sick. Or it could be another disease. (Or just old age)

Swim bladder problems usually doesn’t cause fish to act like this, usually this type of floating is them being sick or dieing.
I think it’s Probly just time for your fish to pass, I’ve had no luck trying to revive or help a fish out since it’s at this point, usually I can save them when I catch a problem or disease early on.
Hope I helped a little. Sad to hear your fish is suddenly sick

8-10 years, which is why I’m sad about it No ammonia spikes I’m aware of. Other two fish acting normal. Although they have been dying off over past month (had about 10). Figured it was just old age for Molly’s.

Hm, not sure then.
Sometimes fish just die. Maybe it was stressed from something.

One of my goldfish randomly died one day and I had no idea why or how. The best reasoning was that when I did a water change I mightve poured too cold of water on the fish without making sure the water was an ok temp.
