I wouldn't recommend having feeder goldfish in a 5 gallon. It's too small and feeder goldfish are quiet messy. They also get pretty big. A 5 gallon would be perfect for a betta fish

I personally wouldn't even put a betta in anything less than a 10 gallon. Maybe some shrimp and snails?

    Goldfish are a no.

    Please read up on this:

    Bororas: (This is bororas maculatus)

    Celestial pearl:danio:

    African dwarf frogs:

These are just some fish/amphibians that can live in your tank. Make sure you heat and filter your water and do lots of research before you get started.

    Good luck!

A common goldfish needs a large pond. Fancy goldfish need 20g for the first, 10g each thereafter. Please do not house goldies in there. Sorry!

I would house a Betta in the 5g, you could make a very nice home for him in there.x
