Well mine's a bit embarrassing but my first betta was in a bowl but i did eventually move him to a 5g tank (which wasn't cycled and never was due to my negligence at that time). i learned my lesson after he passed away. may he rest in peace gillbert<3

Here’s my first betta, we just call him the business man. His tail is currently healing up.

Great Idea. While I'm only about halfway through cycling (and this is my first time having a fish) I was wanting to post a picture of my betta once I get him. This will be the perfect place! Thanks

This is Harold. Before I got him I did tons of research and went to a recommended breeder. Despite this he only lived two weeks. It seems he was ill before I got him. Despite our short time together, I loved him very much.

This is Neptune my first, and current, betta fish. He lives in a 15 gallon planted tank with a few other tank mates although I'm planning on moving his tank mates up to a bigger tank, and keeping him in the 15 gallon, as he is beginning to chase them a lot unfortunately. But I guess it is a good excuse to get a second bigger tank lol.

Keeping it real with an updated pic. I've had Mick for almost 2 years now. He's likely between 2.5-3 years old because he was full-grown when I got him. I honestly wasn't sure that I could keep him alive this long since he was my first fish, and a petsmart betta at that. He's slowing down a bit and his fins are now showing his age. I have learned so much taking care of him and I hope that I can help him ride out his old man years comfortably. </3
