It all began with a sheet of 36 x 18" glass. Pics (in order - see attached thumbnails):
1. The cut glass
2. The tank drying with 100% silicone sealant.
3. Front view of the tank, sitting on my DIY stand (Which is VERY sturdy)
4. Left side view
5. Right side view

Building your glass tank and stand is very inexpensive. A 36 x 18 inch sheet of picture frame glass is about 10$. The wood for the stand is about 20$. If you want to get a nano reef, simply make it happen! If you have any questions, I can guide you and tell you some tips and the dimensions I used. I spent exactly 155$ on the glass, stand, and all equipment (hydor pico 400 powerhead, marineland stealth pro 50w heater, coralife t5ho mini aqualight, 8 lbs of Fiji live rock and a 10 lb of natures ocean bio activ sand). It was very cost effective.

Thanks guys! What should I put in it? A small Ocellaris or Goby?

Right now it's in the brown algae phase of it's cycle. What does this signify?
