He doesn’t seem himself. But he is eating. Water Params are all good and have been. Tankmates are healthy.

Hi, sorry there's no answer on your thread. Bumping does work, but people may not be able to identify what's wrong with him. I don't specialize in livebearers unfortunately, so I cannot offer much. But as long as he's acting fine, I wouldn't worry about it and think it's an extra growth. Something similar to a tumor perhaps.

I just saw that my bump worked. Good to know. I wasn’t sure if threads moved when posted in or not

Whatever it was, it sort of fell off today?? It looked like a piece of skin. I can still tell that something is “blemished” in that spot but it’s not hanging anymore. He was REALLY REALLY hard to catch to move him from one tank to another to separate the livebearer males from the females. Maybe I injured him on accident???

I would still think it's some kind of growth because my betta had a tumor that ruptured and fell off. Whatever it was, I would keep the water clean and pristine to prevent any infections.
