Phoenix My dwarf gourami

It doesn’t really matter why I joined this as this morning this young dwarf gourami died after my betta fish Smokey as consistently flaring nd biting and chasing him. I thought Smokey was ok with him but he turned when his “ best friend” died (a fish that he was always swimming with and never left alone) RIP Phoenix.

Betta's and Dwarf Gourami are very much incompatible with each other, in fact Betta's are often not good with any tankmates.
I would avoid getting another Dwarf Gourami and keep the Betta on it's own, they are fantasticly personable fish and a joy to keep.

Yh I will but I did have him for a good 4 months
