PH swing 7.2-6.6 harmful???H

Peaches1710

Hi.
I've been cycling my 20 gallon tank for about 5 weeks and it's finally finished! Two days in a row have read 0 Ammonia, 0 Nitrite, 40+ Nitrates after adding 2ppm Ammonia.
I know I probably should have waited a few more days but I have become very impatient! Yesterday the Nitrates were at 80ppm so I did a 75% water change and today they were at 40ppm so I did another 75% water change. 3 hours after this WC I have bought the first batch of fish for this tank: 6 juvenile Harlequin Rasboras.
The pH of the tank is now 7.2 with the large WC and it is usually 6.6 so I know that over the next 12 hours or so the pH will slowly drop down to this pH.
They are still sitting in their bag from the store, but I am concerned that if I introduce them now (it's exactly 3 hours since the WC) that the drop in pH from 7.2 to 6.6 will be stressful for them. The pH will stabilise over the next day and I have a big piece of driftwood and some oyster grit.
Do I have reason to worry? Should I still put them in? Thanks.
