I don't test my pH ever. I was showing my husband how to use the kit and we did a regular and high range pH test. What do you guys make of these results?

The regular pH looks like 7.6 but the high range maybe like 8.4? I have no idea how to read that one.

How long has it been sitting? We're the bottles shaken well?

I took those right after I finished the test and they were shaken well.

Oh sorry. My brain farted earlier. On the low ph it shows the highest level because that's as high as it can go . The high ph is your actual correct reading.

Does that make sense? If not ill try to explain further.

It's the same as if I used the high ph to test a water with a ph of 6.0 it would show 7.4 only because that's as low as the high ph test goes.

Yeah for some reason I was thinking that if it was out of range it turned a weird color that wasn't on the chart. Must be thinking of something else.

Nope. It will show the highest color range even if its higher.
