Question PH level

The pH of my tap water is around 6.6-6.8 and is being quite consistent (tested with API Master Test KIt) . Currently I am doing a fishless cycle for my 5 gallon betta tank.

Will the pH level be ok to do the cycle? Or will I have to raise it up? I feel if I add more stuff in to fix this, it would add even more complication to what's already complex(the cycle).

Thanks

The pH should be fine for a cycle. What method are you using to cycle the tank?

A pH below 6 will stall a cycle. Used crushed coral to raise pH naturally and botanicals to lower it naturally
Thanks for the tips. I feel if the current pH level will work, I rather just leave it as is. But this is good to know in the future as I know the pH might change during the cycle.
