So I have a 10 gallon tank with dalmation mollys fry , I had 4, 2 died and 1 dying its laying down. The last one is swimming around so far, my ammonia is .25, ph is 6.0, when I test the p.h at the faucet it is 7.8, but in the tank the same water ph is 6.0, I have a plant in the tank, can that be lowering the ph?

That is horrible news!

When was your last water change?

With sick, dying and/or dead fish, I would be doing 50% water changes every other day.

Your ammonia you said was 0.25.

What are your nitrite and nitrate levels?

What kind if filter are you using?

Any other fish in the tank ?

My last water change was yesterday, about 40% , I haven't tested the nitrate and nitrites cause the tank is only 10 days old, and no other fish only dalmation frys, I separated them from my 55 gallon tank because the parnets would eat them , do you think gur plant is lowering the p.h ?

I can't comment on live plants and affect on pH. I've never kept them.

A sponge filter should be good on a 10 gallon tank with fry though.

I had a green lantern platy have about 15-20 fry, and only 4 survived. They are about 6-7 months old now.
